With the rapid development of the Internet and information technology, media convergence has become a trend, which brings new opportunities and new challenges for ideological and political education in colleges and universi- ties. How to optimize the acceptance mechanism of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities by taking advantage of the trend and avoiding the harm is of great research significance. The article focuses on the compo- nents of network ideological and political education accept- ance mechanism such as educators, recipients and acceptance content, analyzes the positive and negative impacts of media convergence, and on this basis, puts forward the construction strategy of network ideological and political education accept- ance mechanism in colleges and universities in a targeted way to further improve the effectiveness of network ideological and political education.
